Alrighty!

so this is for 's contest, where i had to draw her character Peony!!!
who is such an adorable character, so i knew i wanted to try drawing her :D

anyways, much love goes to ~nadienne, who helped me figure out why her feet looked SOOO bad! (i got to fix it, hurrah!). :heart: course... this isn't as great as it could've been... although this was an attempt at inking, which i've never really done. but there are tons of problems. but its 1:20 am, and i'm tired! i have to admit though, i love how her face came out. looking at it makes me happy.

just so you know, Peony happens to be short, with medium-length brown hair (with her bangs to one side), freckles, large grey eyes, and is curvy. Oh, and she has a round face. So i was keeping ALL of that in mind when drawing her. Think I pulled that off? I'm hoping I did!

and and and i'm hoping =kitton likes it too.


Sketch + Inking: WAAAAYY too long... i redid this SO many times... 3 hours or so, maybe 4. haha
Colouring on Photoshop w/ mouse: 7 hours, believe it or not.

really happy and nice atmosphere.
one thing that bugs me are her feet.

OMG I love this so much. She seems to have a static pose but her face is SO perfect. She looks very energetic, and her face almost is like "I know something you don't know" or something. Anyway, she has so much character! I love her eyes (so cool) and her freckles are soooo cute! The dress design is so cool and pretty! The colar on it is so cool! I love its design! All of the little stars are so cute, too! I love love love the little octi in the thought bubble, too! SO cute! I like the flow of her hair and how you put so much detail into it! I like the forshortening on her legs (that can be soooo tricky) and I love all of the hues in her skintone! I love her bracelets, too! I like how the feet came out, so cute! The background simple but I'm glad you added it. I love how she's sitting on her name, too~ Awesome awesome! :heart:

wow, her face is really sweet. i especially love her lips. i hope i'll get time to enter this contest, but i'm supposed to be spending all my time looking for a job and preparing my portfolio >_>
